Hey Houstonians - tried Chipotle?

There seem to be a lot of Houstonians on this BB, and Kim mentioned the frustration of finding healthy fast food in Houston on another thread. (We didn't have that issue in San Diego, I might add...) But they've recently opened a Chipotle Mexican Grill out here in the burbs (across from Willowbrook mall), and we're addicted. I order the vegetarian burrito - and it is fabulous, low fat (assuming you're selective about what you have them put on it) and fast! I understand there are now 4 of them in town. Anyone else discovered them?

I'm not a Houstonian, but love Chipotle. We always have to go there several times when we visit my parents in Columbus, OH--my husband and I are addicts.

I enjoy Chipotle here in Colorado - I believe this is where they started. If I order a chicken burrito, I'll cut in in half (almost) and share with my husband (he gets the bigger half). Otherwise, one burrito is too big of a portion.

Did you know that Chipotle is owned by McDonalds? Kind of an oxymoron in my opinion....

Just had to post again--our favorite burrito at Chipotle is the chicken fajita burrito, though I like the veggie fajita burrito pretty well, too. With the fajita burritos, you get veggies thrown in, but the regular ones don't...

I am in Dallas and love Chipotle! My favorite is their hot sauce.....it actually has some kick!

Thanks for the info on Chipotle - I'd never heard of it until this post...in Friday's Dining Guide in the Chronicle, page 14G, it's noted that Chipotle is donating all sales on Saturday (Cinco de Mayo) to LULAC's National Education Service Center of Houston. Chipotle is open from 11 AM - 10 PM, locations are 5600 Kirby, 14642 Memorial, 7600 FM 1960 W and 6600 Fannin.

Kltcarley - the Willowbrook location is in the same building as the Starbucks in Willowbrook Commons (across 1960 from the mall).
I had heard about what they are doing on Saturday as far as donating profits to LULAC - we also got free burritos on tax day! The other thing there that is FAB is their guacamole - for $1.25 you get fresh guac and chips that is awesome.

Oooh! Thanks for the reviews! I saw that that restaurant was going in at the Willowbrook location when I was up visiting my parents the last time. Hopefully they will build one out near us--SugarLand--soon! Is it like Mission Burrito? We really like that place.

It is similar to Mission Burrito - but with more limited toppings. They have about 5 different burritos, 5 tacos and 5 fajita burritos, chips and drinks. The caritas tacos are awesome - but far from healthy!
