Cooking Light annual recipes 2005-page 400: Red wine-marinated steak sandwiches-----i have tried several different searches on the website without any luck. Is it online? How long and are all the recipes kept on the website? Is there a way to search by the particular magazine issue? I.E. can i search the contents of November 2004 recipes somewhere to find the red wine-marinated steak sandwiches recipe? I save recipes to my computer so when i travel i can have them with me without having to take the magazines/books with me. Thanks so much for your time.

If you use the search box on the same line as the food, menus&Planning, etc you can key in the month and year (for example June 2004) and the recipes that are posted will show up.
You can also try the gray search box (but that searches the bulletin board). Lots of times, we do post the recipes for other people to see. You might try searching just titles first and just use a few key words. The search engine is funky (IMHO)
Here is a thread (http://community.cookinglight.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=68459&highlight=steak+sandwich) where coincidentally, I typed the recipe for someone else :)

Thank you for the link to the thread. I haven't mastered searching old threads yet. I assumed all magazine recipes were here and am surprised to see they are not. Do you know what determines which ones they will post?
Thanks again....i made the recipe last night and it was fantastic. Taking my laptop on a trip next week and will be glad to have that recipe and others with me.

I have no idea. For awhile, it didn't seem like they were posting that many and now they seem to be posting alot.
Yes, the search engine can be funky. Just keep trying, eventually you might get lucky :D
