This recipe got mixed reviews at my house. I thought it was fabulous! The flavors blended well, I cooked the scallops perfectly...I was very happy with it. My DH took one bite and said "This is great! The scallops really make the dish." After this favorable comment, I noticed he was eating the salad part and his scallops were just being rearranged on his plate. After much prodding, he admitted that he has a latent aversion to "cold" scallops..they give him the hebe-gebes! I guess as the scallops cooled, the texture bugged him or something. Needless to say, I was very disappointed! http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/frown.gif I spent $20.00 on beautiful sea scallops, cooked them just right only to discover that they are going to sit on his plate. My cooking ego was shot!Grrrrrrrrrrr!!!!

Enough of my complaining. Back to my review. This is a great summer salad. If you and your SO's can "tolerate" cold scallops in a salad, I would recommend this one.

Thanks for the review Peggy, I was drooling over the recipe last night. We are having very warm weather now in SoCal and I thought that this would be a really good thing to have.

I, too, am not thrilled with cold scallops. Love them warm, but something about the texture when they're cold. But thanks for the review!
