I have read the recipe and still do not understand ! 1/3 cup really fits in one chicken breast and after inserting the toothpicks, is the chicken breast flat and you saute a flat breast or do you rollup breast and use the toothpicks? I need to make these for our dinner club meeting this Friday and I frantically need an answer.

Cut a small pocket in the chicken breasts and fill. Don't worry about measuring. Depending on the size on the chicken breasts, you may not need 1/3 cup. I had extra stuffing and sauteed it in the pan with the chicken.

Have no fear! The recipe really works out quite nicely. I divided up the filling between the 4 chicken breasts (though I didn't actually use a measuring cup). The filling fit inside the breasts and they were flat, not rolled up when you cooked them. I stick the toothpicks in at an angle, or should I say a "diagonal", along the openings. On a couple of breasts I think I used more than one toothpick. The filling stayed inside really well.
