Hello,

We're headed up to the Pacific Northwest for our fifth year. What recipes should I bring? I have our camp box filled with an assortment of knives and kitchen utensils. I have a pill holder with a variety of spices. What recipes should I bring that have great CL flavor with minimal spices and no hard to find ingredients, like argula? Any suggestions would be helpful. Looking up all the seafood recipes I can find. Our boys would eat seafood all ten days. Especially the oysters in Oysterville.

I don't have any specific recipes to recommend, but just wanted to share what I do when getting ready to go to our summer house on Cape Cod. I grab a couple of years worth of CL, Bon Appetit, & Gourmet for the month of the trip. Usually, they have recipes that use in-season produce, and tend to have simpler summer fare. It gives me a chance to try some new recipes and eat well while on vacation.
