Anyone subscribe to this? I got an offer in the mail (probably we all did) for $10/year. Just curious if it's worth subscribing.

I subscribe to Health magazine and really like it. It is a sister publication to Cooking Light so that's probably why you received the offer. I purchasede mine as a package deal off Ebay. I received 3 years of Health plus another magazine. I'd have to pull out the payment slip to see how much it was - but not very expensive. I just checked and the cheapest one on Ebay is 1 year for $4.99. You could probably get a trial issue to see if you liked it first.

I used to subscribe but let my subscription lapse because it wasn't doing too much for me. However, I recently picked up the June issue and I really liked it. I believe they may have changed their format. I'm thinking of resubscribing. Of course, their pop up ad on the CL main page is extremely annoying but I suppose I won't hold it against them.

I get Health magazine and like it. Like Cooking Light, it gives me incentive to stay on track with eating and exercising.

I used to read Health for the same reason DeeK does -- it keeps me thinking about exercise & eating well, so it's motivating. I stopped reading it a couple years ago when the content seemed to swing more toward beauty than health. Also, a lot of their articles focus on recent studies which, as we all know, offer ever-changing and conflicting information. I have always like their tone and writing style, though.

I get Health magazine because my mom gets it and she gets an offer when she renews that she can get a free subscription for anyone else - and she chooses me.:D

I love it. I got so behind on magazines when I had my first child that I had stacks and stacks of magazines. I had to be realistic and just recycle most of them. I did, but I saved every Health magazine. I'm just under 2 years behind (how crazy is that?). I'm slowly catching up.

I DON'T exercise - I can't think of anything that I hate more. I read it for all the new info (or info that came out 2 years ago  ). I also really like their articles.

They probably have a 2 issue trial offer - it seems like they have it for all the other magazines that are in this Cooking Light family.
