I know that many of you have mentioned that you have your own blogs and I have visited many of them, but I would love to see more (a new way to avoid that growing to do list). So, what is your blog and what is its topic? Food, politics, just everyday stuff. I tried to do a search for threads, but the search function is still not working, so I thought I would start a new thread.

My blog is in my signature. It's not about any one thing yet, just mindless ramblings. Some food, some life, some household stuff, etc. And of course pictures!
It's kinda fun. Just consider it a public journal.

Mine is food oriented/cooking school specific.

Mine is mainly just following my day to day adventures with food. I'm trying to expand my enjoyment of different foods and experimenting to see what happens!
Here is my blog (http://desertculinary.blogspot.com)

I was thinking it was when you would be done with school (even though I thought that would have been to fast) :D

My thoughts as well.
Yay for hockey! Maybe I'll make it to a Dallas Stars game this season...

Actually, I finish school in September with my Culinary Level One or whatever they are calling it here. I could opt to do the full year, but that would cost me an extra 12000$ that I don't have. So I figure I learn the basics, then I get a job and work my way up from the very bottom, learning as I go.

I have really loved the blogs you have posted so far.
jjsooner the post about your nephew was so touching. You could really see the joy he could spread from the pictures you posted. Thank you for sharing them.
Kayaksoup the pics of your food look absolutely divine. I will be checking in here to drool quite often I think.
Healthy in MN you have to share that recipe for the Oreo like cookies (though maybe I will officially request that on the Food Board). I showed the pic to my fiance and he immediately requested them. Your pics are great and all the food looks wonderful
Hope to see some more, these were all great.

Healthy in MN Thank you for the recipe on your blog. I have it copied down and will have to get those made this week.
annagins I was cracking up at your Nanaimo post. I have so many recipes that I feel that same way about. Thanks for sharing your blog.

On my blog, the focus is food, though I had anecdotes about our life as well to draw people in. Nearly 15,000 unique visitors so far, so I guess I'm doing ok. ;)

Healthyin MN- I tried the cookies last night and they were so good. My Oreo obsessed fiance was not as impressed as I was, but I will be making these many more times. Did you find the dough to be pretty sticky? I was having to lube up my hands before each cookie was rolled, but it may have just been an error earlier on. Thanks again for the recipe.
Missindi I love you blog. I have been keeping up with it pretty regularly. All your recipes and reviews are a great resource to me. I was very sorry to hear about your Grandmother.

Thanks on both counts. Another CLBB blogger is RubyChan. Her blog is Lick the Spoon (http://lickthespoon.blogspot.com) - I'm sure she would have responded, but she's on vacation this week. :D

I like to read Kayaksoup, Missindi, and Rubychan's blogs!
I have a blog (http://www.livejournal.com/users/colleency/) at Live Journal. Mine mostly contains recipes, restaurant reviews, movie reviews, book reviews, and things I've been sewing or knitting.

Glad you liked them! My dough was a little tacky but not really sticky. Sorry if you had any troubles - it can be finicky when dealing with the small measurements! I agree - we will be making these often as well!

I have a livejournal, and it's scout1222 over there, too. I mostly talk about day-to-day life, stupid things, running, and on rare occasion...COOKING! Ha! I spend more time on LJ than I'd like to admit, but it's become a nice little social circle for me.

Great timing! I just started a blog and I would love feedback. The topic is making significant life changes and finding a new path in life: http://truepath.blogspot.com/

annagins I saw your comment. Thanks you were my 1st :o ! A picture of the cookies is on HealthyinMN thread, and they look gourmet (mine were a little rough looking). Anywho, its a recipe from Small Batch Baking. Can't wait to try them again.
collleency and scout 1222 I like the format of the livejournal sites. I really like how you can have a shorter post showing, but link to something longer. Blogspot could offer that, but lord knows I don't know how to use it. Both of your sites were really fun to read.
Lucinda our blogs are launch twins. I started mine on the 27th as well. You are so brave to be starting over like that. It is such a hard thing to do. All your resources are great (and don't give up on that magazine, you can make it happen)
I have loved getting to find these new blogs and will be reading them often. So many of you have such a great way with words, I feel like I get to know you a bit better with each post you have. Thanks.

They are FREE and EASY! You can go to any of the sites any of the above do theirs from. Many of us use blogspot, but there are more options than that.

I blog about baking cupcakes. I'm not really a cook or a baker. But, I'm on a personal quest to back 52 cupcakes one week at a time. Sunday will be my 16th week of cupcakes.

Yes, I have a blog. While I have a few posts about food, it is mostly abot politics, education, and geocaching. I really should spend more time documenting our food.

I use WordPress. I started with Blogger (hosted on my own website, not Blogger's) but wanted more versatility and better uptime. Blogger was getting too unreliable, and my comments would disappear after a while. My blog is just a family, "what's going on in my life"-type blog.
