I have a chunk of country bread and would love to make some homemade croutons. Does anyone have a recipe? It does not need to be low fat. I always wonder how some restaurants do it, they always taste so good, crunchy, buttery and garlicky. Anyone know how they do it?

I asked this question a while back when I wanted to make croutons with some leftover Asiago Pepper Bread. I got some wonderful responses. Here is the link:

I just toss breadcubes with olive oil and garlic salt. Bake on 400 or so, turning often until they are as brown and crunchy as you like them.
I make large bags of these to give as gifts, and they are always a huge hit!
