View Full Version : To Submit a Recipe for 'Lightening Up'???
Is there a way to submit recipes online for that section of the magazine where they lighten a reader's recipe??? DO they even still do this segment?
I have this wonderful lemon ginger cheesecake my mother made but man! it uses 4 pkgs of cream cheese PLUS loads of sour cream and sugar...
Anyone know how I submit it?

I checked in the magazine and it only lists an address, so I think at this time, you can only mail in recipes. I also checked online and found no link for this section.

Someone might have a current issue handy; I know that Light and Tasty magazine has a section where they lighten up recipes, but I'm not sure what their submission policy is for that section of the magazine. They usually do 2-3 recipes per issue, so you can try to increase your odds that someone will lighten your cheesecake.

Do you want the recipe to be published? Or are you mainly concerned with getting it lightened? Perhaps you could post your recipe and our resident "recipe tweakers" could give you some tips on lightening your cheesecake. I have seen many recipes get a good lightening from the great minds on this BB.
