Ok, if one of you can come up with this title for me, I will be SO impressed! I'm trying to remember the name of a book to give it to a client. Here's what I remember:

It's kind of a "memoir" story of a woman who lost over 100 lbs, mostly through OA

I think her first name was Francis

It is a title that has a subtitle. I cannot remember the title..I think the subtitle is something like "losing half of myself and gaining a life" or SOMETHING! I can't find it on Amazon with this info

I probably read about it here in the first place! I'm going to post this on the HL board also.
Thanks in advance!
Terri

Not an answer to your question, really, but my favorite title in this category is "I Think I'll Start on Monday" by Totie Fields. :)

The book is Passing for Thin: Losing Half My Weight and Finding My Self by Frances Kuffel.

I read this book a few months ago and have given it to several other people to read. The book does not give any detail on how she did (what plan she was on). She does talk about eating a lot of salad. It primarily focuses on the emotional issues and how she views herself.

Robin, you are wonderful!

There were some things that I liked about this book, and others that I didn't. The client that I want to give it to is new to Overeaters Anonymous, and I think she will enjoy some of the descriptions of the meetings, and the author's feelings about the meetings, etc. Thank you!!!
