Sorry it took me so long to track it down, but here goes.

1 can(14oz)waterpacked artichoke hearts
2/3c fat free cream cheese
1/3c sour cream(fat free/light)
1/3c grated parmesan(fresh)
1Tble lemon juice
1tsp dried parsley
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp fresh ground pepper
2-4 drops hot pepper sauce(Tabasco)

Preheat oven to 350F. Coat small ovenproof serving dish with cooking spray(Pam).
Drain artichokes hearts and chop coursely
In large bowl, mix cream chees and sour cream until smooth. Add parmesan, lemon juice, garlic powder, pepper and hot pepper sauce. Stir in artichokes. Adjust the seasonings if you wish. Pour into prepared serving dish.
Bake for 10-15 min or until bubbly.
Tip: if youn soften your cream cheese first, it is alot easier to mix with the sour cream.

It is obviously not as rich as the high fat version, but it is a resonable substitute.

Hope you like it, and again sorry for the wait. Cindy A.

I wasn't even the one who asked for it, but I'm glad you posted. Sounds yummy. I'm looking forward to giving a try.

What in particular do you recommend using it with?

Tortilla Chips are great with the original stuff you get in restaurants. I'm so excited to try this. My entire family loves this dish and if I can make it lower fat Wow... I'm in heaven. Thanks for the post Cindy

Opps! Guess I forgot to make serving suggestions. Generally I serve it with crackers, I have found the light version of "Wheat Thins" make a great combination. This makes a great appetizer with cocktails.

I have a similar recipe with spinach (*wink*) in it... and it's really great served with chunks of a good french bread!

Sorry -- I don't have a recipe with nutrition info, I'm afraid. My recipe is based on a restaurant recipe (and I've just used low fat cream cheese in mine to lighten it).

However, it looks to me like you could try adding 1 pk frozen spinach to the recipe above, if you want something lighter. The spinach shouldn't affect the calories much, and would add vitamins and iron.
Just thaw and drain the spinach (squeezing out the excess water before adding to recipe) and adjust the other ingredients if it turns out to be necessary.
