Ha ha! Get it? Quilting? THREAD?? I kill me. :D
Anyhoo, the monthly knitting thread has been quite helpful and fun for people, so I thought I'd start a quilting thread. Because we know I needed MORE hobbies to spend money and time on.
I just finished cutting the pieces for my very first quilt, a baby quilt from a book called Stack the Deck: Crazy Quilts in 4 Easy Steps. (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/1564774341/qid=1123674905/sr=8-1/ref=sr_8_xs_ap_i1_xgl14/002-4603015-9862438?v=glance&s=books&n=507846) Here is the photo of the cut and stacked blocks, which I am going to cut into craaazy shapes today, shuffle, and sew back together to form blocks again:

The yellow bug print blocks are going to remain whole.

I'll post more photos as I go (editing to add that apparently I will be using Imagestation since Ofoto STILL doesn't let you link to a website...grr).
Anyone else want to play? :)
