Hi Everyone,

I have been reading this BB for several weeks now and enjoy it very much. My first post is a question about measuring shrimp. I want to make the Bombay Curried Shrimp in the Complete CL cookbook. The recipe calls for 1 1/2 pounds shrimp, peeled and deveined. Does that mean 1 1/2 lbs before or after peeling. I am a lifetime member of WW, currently 10 lbs over goal, so I am really trying to measure and weigh all ingredients. Thanks

Taken literally, I think that means to weigh out your 1 1/2 pounds of shrimp, then peel and devein.

What if the shrimp is frozen? I buy a big bag, and then just "guestimate" the servings I'm going to make. Does it weigh more when it's frozen, with all that ice?
