I really like my Waring blender. It has lots of power.

I love my Kitchen Aid, very powerful and relatively easy to take apart to clean.

I also LOVE my Kitchenaid... from the look of my appliances, you would think I owned stock in Kitchenaid! They make really good products that last forever!

Another vote for KitchenAid! I have the double-duty model that has the handy-dandy 3-cup food processor attachment also! $45 at Bed, Bath and Beyond! (aka: Toys 'R Us) http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/biggrin.gif

Another suggestion I have for you is to go to Amazon and read the reviews. I think they will be of great help depending on what you plan on using your blender to do for your purposes.

I just purchased a Waring blender. In fact, it has just arrived and I haven't taken it out of the box yet. I did a lot of research on the internet and I was convinced this was the best and would outlast any other from all the reviews I read. I am sure others are good too reading the previous posts speaking of their Kitchen- aids.

And don't forget, Kitchenaid comes in Blue (yay).
Jewel - after displaying all our wedding gifts, we also seem to be driving up Kitchenaids stock (and their vendor who sells the blue paint).
