There is currently a major exhibition of Maori culture on in San Francisco, if any of you want to check it out. Toi Maori is focused on various art forms, including a live ongoing demonstration of Ta Moko (traditional Maori tattooing - a tattoo artist is working on his uncle, creating a full body tattoo) and various performances.
Only a few days to go though - it's running til August 14th, with the exhibition at the Yerba Buena Center. All the details are here (http://www.newzealand.com/travel/sights-activities/events-calendar/toi-maori/toi-maori.cfm).
And if you go to the website, you can enter the draw to win a trip to New Zealand.
