Search function still not "functioning"

When searching for a particular post/ thread/ topic, the search function covers posts after the BB upgrade or from 2003 and earlier. It seems 2004 and the first half of 2005 are no longer in the search database. Any hope of having this fixed soon?

Grrrr, definitely not working!
I searched "titles only" for Seattle (in "other stuff") and it found no matches! Of course there are many.
Today I looked for a recipe for Garden Muffins - definitely the title of the thread - and it couldn't find that either.
I use the search function a LOT and this is soooo frustrating!
