Food for the poor! (Sat, May 12th)

Does everyone know that if you leave food items in a bag by your mailbox tomorrow (Sat. May 12th) the mailman will pick it up and it will be given to the hungry?
This is nationwide and is being sponsered by the postal system.

Its a great idea, and we have done it tin the past, but I havent heard anything about it in this area...of course, we dont have a "mailbox"....we share a large communial metal thing divided into boxes that we get our mail from, and one large slot where we put our outgoing mail...hard to put food in that slot!
