I'm looking for the recipe for cinnamon rolls similar to those at Cinnabon, it was mentioned by ChristineB in her message of 5/7/01. Thanks

Categories : Bread Machine
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
1/4 cup butter -- melted
1/4 cup water
1/2 3.4 oz. package -- ¥
1 pkg. instant vanilla pudding
(1/3 cup)
1 cup milk
1 egg -- beaten
1 tablespoon sugar
1/2 teaspoon salt
4 cups bread flour
2 1/2 teaspoons yeast
Filling:
1/2 cup butter -- softened
1 cup brown sugar
4 teaspoons cinnamon
Frosting:
4 oz. cream cheese -- softened
1/4 cup butter -- softened
1 1/2 cups confectioners sugar
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1 1/2 teaspoons milk
Rolls:
Place ingredients in machine following the specifications of that particular machine. Set for dough cycle. After complete on dough cycle, remove from machine and roll out to an approximate 17x10 rectangle.
Filling:
Mix together brown sugar and cinnamon. Spread softened butter over dough. Sprinkle brown
sugar and cinnamon mixture over top. Roll tightly from long end, pinching edges closed when completely rolled. Slice rolled dough into 1/2-inch slices (or larger if a larger bun is preferred). Place into greased cake pans or on a large cookie sheet. If using cake pans, use 3 9-inch pans. Let rise until
doubled. Bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes, until golden. Do not overbake.
Frosting:
Spread on very warm rolls. They are best when eaten fresh, but I have found that 10-15 seconds in the microwave rejuvenates them. Note: You may add chopped nuts with the filling.

Jazzcat - Just to be clear, is that 1/2 of a 3.4 oz package of the pudding (equal to 1/3 cup)?? I am just trying to clarify since it is on 3 lines. Thanks.
Funnybone,
I got the Cinnabon recipe for bread machines off of copycat website and have made it many times. The recipe calls for 1/2 of a 3.4 ouce box and not 1/3 cup. I measured the 3.4 ounce box and it contains 1/2 cup. I used 1/4 cup of the pudding mix. It is great. As a matter of fact, I just took my rolls out of the oven.
These are great! Enjoy.

Funnybone and smpv, thanks for pointing that out to me. Since I haven't made these yet I didn't notice the discrepancy. I will edit my recipe in Mastercook.

These look cinn-fully great! I can't wait to try them. These rolls were such a nice splurge until a newspaper article said they have 1000 calories per bun. Somehow, I don't feel nearly as guilty when I make them myself.
