West GTA/(some of) Southwestern Ontario Supper Club?

I know we've tried forming this before, without success. I got busy for a few months in the spring and probably some others did too. I'm not ready to give up yet, though. :cool: Any takers? Please respond here or send me a private message (PM) if you're possibly interested!

I know "West GTA and some of SWO" is a very broad range. Personally, I was thinking of places like Etobicoke, Mississauga, Oakville, Burlington, Milton, Halton Hills, Guelph, Brantford, Brampton, or K-W. I'm willing to drive a bit, personally, for good food and company! :)

Randi, I saw your message about London - wish that wasn't quite so far for me, or I'd definitely be interested! Good luck forming a club!

Hi Natasha,

I'm interested in joining/forming a supper club in the area you suggested. For quite some time I've been wondering how I could connect with other foodies. Are you thinking of a group that includes spouses or one that does not? My husband also loves to cook and would enjoy the chance to take part.

Are there others in our "area" that have expressed interest? What sort of group are they looking to create?

TLeaf, thanks for responding, and I'm sorry for not writing back earlier! There are at least two people who have expressed interest (at least casual interest) so far. No interest from spouses to date, though my husband could possibly be convinced if he knows he won't be the only guy there ;) (He does like to cook.) I'm pretty flexible about what kind of group we create, as long as everyone cooks and relaxes together and has fun :D

One of the people who is possibly interested is a member of the board - I hope she sees this and chimes in with what kind of supper club she'd like to see :)
