I actually followed the recipe for this and didn't like the flavors. DH didn't either. Has anyone else tried it and what were your thoughts? (I specially bought a large bunch of cilantro for this recipe and found another to use the cilantro.)

uuummmmmm...cilantro! I didnt quite understand if you were asking for cilantro suggestions or not, but Id chop and freeze, or make salsa, or chop and put on tacos or other Mexican food, or I have a great recipe for pesto that uses cilantro. Let me know if you want it (separate post or email porbably the best) and I will get it to you http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif

Glad you reviewed this. I feel bad about not eating enough fish and this pic looked good. The spice combo, however, did not. Now that I know there is cilantro in it (didn't notice it in the ingredients list), I will pass...

I made this last night and I did like the flavors of the spices. I like cilantro though, so I guess if you don't like cilantro, that would explain it. I thought the spice combination was a good mix for this fish. I liked the color of the finished product too. It just really looked delicious.

Oh, I love cilantro! I just meant that I was disappointed with the recipe. But this is too weird, it was better, but not great- the second day!? How can that happen? The combination of spices didn't WOW us! I also thought that the picture looked great and I like all of the spices individually, I guess not together.

This was the main course at my CL Supper Club Dinner this weekend and we loved it! In our humble opinion, the spices were wonderful. I was concerned that the kids wouldn't like the seasonings but even our groups most finicky daughter ate it...she had two generous helpings! Unbelieveable for her!!! My daughter has an intense dislike of cilantro but she devoured her piece without comment. Maybe all the other spices disguised it?? Since most of us prefer our fish BBQ'ed, we cooked most of it on the grill but we did do one piece of fish on the stove to compare. We thought both were very good.
I will definately make this again and again. Sorry to hear others were disappointed.
