Is there a supper club available in Portland, Oregon or would anyone be interested in creating one? I just got my September issue and it sounds like
it would be fun to try some of the recipes.

My husband and I would be interested in a super club in the Portland area. We cook out of CL all the time and are looking for couples or singles interested in a once-a-month club. We're thinking about starting in September.

Well, how about we meet at a neutral location in order to do our planning for the first event? Perhaps at a book store????

A book store would be great. I'd like to meet on a weeknight but any day works. I'm also new to the area, so the only bookstore I can think of is Powell's in downtown...

Book store sounds perfect. Why don't we aim for the downtown Powell's since it seems centrally located for all of us? Weeknight sounds great. I propose Thursday, September 15th at 7:00 p.m. to miss the rush-hour traffic. They have a little coffee shop, cafe inside--how about there for coffee at 7?
