What famous person do people say you look like? My most common one is Punky Brewster (as in the child, not the adult Soleil Moon Frye). Still get that one quite often. Every once in a while I will get Neve Campbell (but I think it is the dark hair, fair skin that does it). I was actually in Key West for spring break one time when a guy came up and insisted that I looked just like Naomi Campbell. I assured him that I didn't look anything like her (as she is a black supermodel and I am definelty not). He finally got the hint that he had the wrong name and shuffled off embarrassed.

So, has anyone ever told you that you look just like...

A favorite professor of mine says insists I look like Drew Barrymore. Some people see it, some don't.....

I once had a person tell me that I looked like Helen Hunt. I think they were on drugs; the only thing I have in common with Helen Hunt is a high forehead which is not a blessing.

I went through an entire dinner party once being called "Roller Girl"

I used to get Gweneth Paltrow a lot when I had blonde hair.

Now that I'm back to brunette I had someone call me Cathryn Zeta Jones once but I don't see it. My ex always said I look like Ferris Buler's girlfriend.

In our younger days, people would say I resembled Linda Ronstadt. Well, we both grew up in Tucson and are descended from the Ortega sisters of old Santa Barbara, so I guess it's not surprising there is a resemblence! :D

I get Isabella Rossellini a lot...and a friend of my father told him that I had a body like Sophia Loren's. Not sure if my father decked him or thanked him...

My sister and I both used to get Loretta Swit, but not for a long time, thank God.

Michelle Pfeiffer a few times. I wish... ;)

My sister had a very bad reaction to being overmedicated and told me I bore a stunning resemblance to.... her sister! :p But I guess that's not what you meant.
When I was a kid I was often told I looked "just like" Elizabeth on The Waltons. Wonderful.

I used to often hear that I look like Meryl Streep, and I do somewhat resemble what she looked like when she was younger, except I can't look good without bangs like she did because I have a longer, more narrow face.

Some people have also said I look like Daryl Hannah. Only in my dreams do I look like her! I think people just think that because I'm tall and thin and have long blonde hair, and that's the first famous person they think of when they see that combination.

Well people *always* tell me I look just like their cousin or friend. Always. I guess I have that kind of face.

The most common one is Mary Louise Parker. although she's much much thinner than me! Around the time of Fried Green tomatoes we did, I must admit, look somewhat alike. She was on tv the other night and dh was commenting on it. I was like, still?? oh I love you honey.

Angelina I've also gotten Isabella Rosellini and Sophia Loren. And Gina Davis. don't see any of those but, um, I'll take it.

Oh, and Sela Ward. I'll totally take it!

I occasionally get comparisons to Isabella Roselini and Tatum O'Neil, when she was brunette... remember her? I guess it's better than looking like Tip O'Neil. ;) .

In my 30's (when my hair was naturally darker :D ) a guy in my fiction writing night class said I reminded him of Anne Archer in that movie with Michael Douglas--Fatal Attraction.
Someone at work looked at my 10 year old driver's license and said it reminded him of Catherine-Zeta Jones.

Now I am getting so gray, I don't think I remind anyone of anything anymore :( :o

The one people tell me most is Sigourney Weaver. I can definitely see it. The two I don't really see are: Susan Sarandon and Julia Roberts (I think this one is a reaction to my long red hair and overly large smile).

I used to get that all the time in my teens and 20s "Aren't you Jimmy Joe's cousin from Evansville?"

Later on, I got told I looked like Meredith Baxter-Birney (back in the Family Ties days), but I was never, ever that blonde. Now my hair is short. And I'm in my 40s. Frankly, I'm very very all-American, blue eyed, semi-freckly, girl next door-ish. You can get away with murder, because no one ever suspects!

My husband, who is very German, and I make excellent Aryan poster children. However, for those of you who saw the picture of my granddaughter, my stepson married an African American girl, so our grandbabies are mocha. ;) My brother married a Korean girl, so my neice/nephew are part Asian. I tell you, its the UN in our family these days, and I wouldn't have it any other way!

I've had more than one person say Nicole Kidman (But I certainly don't see it and my hair is WAY shorter than hers.) I've also been told Meg Ryan and before when my hair was longer and darker the woman that did my nails swore I looked like Miranda from Sex in the City.

I've gotten Brooke Shields since I was in high school (and that was 10-12 years ago) up until just recently. Don't know what it is, but I'll definitely take it as a compliment.

The other one is Kimberly Williams. I think it's just the brown curly hair. I wish my hair looked like hers does in Father of the Bride.

If you look like a cross between those delicious specimens, I absolutely must have you. Welcome to my harem!

For the record, Chevy Chase on more than one occassion, but I must stress I don't see the similarity at all.

When my hair was longer and still black, people used to confuse me with our of our local City Council members. Folks were always coming up to me on the street or at the grocery store and RANTING at me about something, and wouldn't believe me when I kept saying I wasn't her.......that was a fun couple of years.

I've gotten Brooke Shields since I was in high school (and that was 10-12 years ago).

I get Brooke a lot, too. Also the actress who plays "Rory" on the Gilmore Girls, I think her name is Alexis Bledel.

I use to get a lot of people saying I looked a lot like Sandra Bullock
Now my 23 yo DD gets that all the time

Everyone use to say how much my DD looked like me and I would always say "I guess so" but after 2 people comming up to her this weekend when we were together in Portland and telling her she looks like Sandra I guess I have to believe it :p

I used to get Lillith from Cheers (Bebe Neuworth) all the time. Now that I don't keep my hair black, I don't get it as much. And yeah, it was always "Lillith from Cheers" - I guess no one paid attention to her real name.

I have gotten Ellen DeGeneres a few times but I think it's just my odd and possibly slightly dry sense of humor-- :p ! One coworker always told me she thought I reminded her of Tracy Ullman--again, must be the humor thing.

I've gotten Helen Hunt a few times, but it has been awhile. I've gotten Kristin Davis aka Charlotte York from Sex and the City.

I wear my glasses a lot to work and I have these two people calling me Lizzie, from the Lizzie McGuire Disney Show. I guess there is an animated character, maybe Lizzie , who wears dark brown glasses???? Also, I've gotten Tina Fey (sp?) from SNL b/c of my glasses. I don't really think I look like anyone

Kristal, I can see the Gilmore Gore gal in you...well, from your pictures at least :)

Lizzie was played by Hilliary Duff

I've been told all my life that I look just like (fill in the blank). I remind everybody of a friend or somebody they knew in the past but never somebody famous.

One well-meaning, but perhaps near-sighted older gentleman of my acquaintance gifted me with a photographic book about Audrey Hepburn, because he said I looked like her. Huh? I can't even think how I would be like her at all.

Other people have said I look like Nicole Kidman when she played Virginia Woolf in The Hours. Great. I look like a beautiful woman, but only when she makes herself look remarkably different...and unattractive. :(

My brother pointed out I looked just like Winona Ryder in Girl - Interrupted and I have to admit, it was freaky watching it after that, he was right. But only in that movie, I don't really look like her otherwise.

I did a figure competition a year ago and the gym where I trained posted pictures of me on stage. Everyone asked my trainer, "I didn't know you trained Maria Shriver?" The only similiarity I see, is that we have the same hair.

I was once told by a college professor that he thought I looked like Jill Eikenberry (of the old L.A. Law fame - where is SHE now I wonder?).

I didn't really think there was any resemblance and for the sake of my grade I didn't want to tell HIM he bore a striking resemblance to Charles Nelson Reilly (another one who's dropped off the Hollywood radar). :) From the picture below it looks like he's gone to fading stars purgatory: Game shows.

It used to be that I was often told I looked like Terri Garr. I think it was the sound of her voice and her mannerisms more than the look. Last year some one
thought I was the woman Page (can't remember her last) name from the home
improvement show. Now that's a compliment!

I don't really get told that I look like anyone famous. My freshman year of college, I apparently was virtually a twin with this girl named Ginger who was a junior. When I arrived on campus (very small all-girls school) people were smiling at me and saying hello like they knew me. All year people were telling me, "You look JUST like Ginger!" I finally saw her near the end of the year, and there was indeed a striking resemblance.

Now that I live in NYC, it is too funny because I will see someone and cannot be sure if it is really a celebrity or just someone who looks a lot like them! Yesterday, I thought I saw Jen Schefft (from the Bachelorette). And I could swear that Amanda Peet was in the movie theatre a few rows in front of me at a "sneak peek" playing of Must Love Dogs. I guess I'll never know!

I went through a phase where everyone was calling me "Katie" because I looked like Katie Couric. It was during the period that she had short hair, we had the same haircut.

I never could see it, but I heard the comment daily for the better part of a year - until I grew my haircut out in disgust. How dare she copy me??? :D

My sister was flipping channels looking for something for the kids to watch. She passed a station that was running an ad for Sex in the City and Drew - my 3 year old nephew - pointed at Carrie and said "Look! There's Angela!" (me) It's the long curly hair. :)
