Can I freeze heavy cream?

Half and half does not freeze well (when it thaws it has lots of small "clumps"), so I would think that heavy cream would have the same problem.

What a bummer...I have so much left over and don't know what to do with it. Any ideas on making something with it that I can freeze?

I can also vouch for the fact that heavy cream does not freeze well at all. How about making ice cream with your stash?
