Has anyone heard from Little Bit?

I know she hasn't posted in some time, but I thought perhaps someone was in touch with her off the boards.

Canice, I have been thinking the same. She hasn't posted in awhile (well before the board change), my prayers are with Little Bit and her dad as they are with all the victims of this hurricane.

Her location would be a serious concern if she stayed, but whether she stayed or not, she may well not have access to a computer or any power for one for some time yet. I want to believe she's okay.

Thanks for your good wishes. I've sent a few PM's, but your new board design is so snazzy, I'm not sure they went through. (Need to check this out!)

We are just fine! Whew.

We got very lucky. Our location and our elevation above sea level seem to have offered us some protection, but if the eye of the storm had hit us, I shudder to think what might have happened.

I haven't had a chance to read the news, but wanted to drop in for a moment just to let my friends know I'm alive and well. There's lots to do, and I'm eager to catch up on the news.

Rumors, gossip and lies fly thick and fast in these kinds of situations, so it will be a relief to get some facts.
