Okay, I'm not getting warm and cosy thoughts about my job and while I don't want to be looking...something tells me I should start.

There was a blurb in the paper a couple of weeks ago (that of course I didn't save) about a new website from the guy that created Careerbuilder (I think). It works similiar to eHarmony where you fill out a form listing your qualifications and then they scan there listings for 'good fits'.

Anybody know what I'm talking about?

Sorry about your job feelings! It's not monsterboard, is it?

Is it Craig's List?

No, its a brand new site that the newspaper was interviewing the guy about. He was the original creator of Career Builder (I think) and has realized that they have gotten out of hand with way too many resumes that are just swamping the HR departments. This was a way that actually matched your qualifications (based on a survey) to the jobs listed.

The project here is supposed to go to the end of 2005 with an extension into 2006 with a 'smaller team'. The client in the meantime has replaced our QA team with a different company and is now replacing 3 of our project managers with one person from a different company. I'm not getting a whole bunch of work and I don't like the feeling....

No, its definetly not Craigslist. I can't even find the stupid article when I look at the newspapers website!

I found the article. It wasn't in the paper, it was in BusinessWeek...

Tyra, I still think that Dice.com is the best site for programmers. Good luck on your search!

I agree...I've used DICE before to find jobs. There just aren't too many out there :( I keep thinking I need to get out of this industry, but I'm still too attached to the paycheck. ;)
