Is anyone familiar with mock dock? I order mock dock when I go to Thai or Vietnamese restaurants and I absolutely love it! I think it is made of wheat glutten?? I am wondering if it is high in fat? Is anybody else a mock duck fan?

I have had tofu duck and LOVE it. Some mock duck is made from wheat gluten, but others are made from tofu "skins" (a process of cooking tofu, forming a skin and these thin layers of "skin" make up the duck). I found this out from doing a search on the internet - I wanted to make tofu duck because I've only had it from NYC and I live in Indiana where I'm sure I won't find it! Anyway, I found out it's very difficult to make - boo hoo! I don't know about the fat content. I'm sure the kind I had was pretty high in fat - tofu has a pretty high fat content and it was marinated in oil as well.

Oh yum - I just love the stuff!
