I made the pork chops in mustard sauce (from the 30 minutes or less section of one of the most recent CLs). They were fantastic! DH raved about them. I had to cook them alot longer than the 12 minutes the recipe called for (my chops were pretty thick; plus, I always cook pork well). The sauce cooked down and was rather syrupy, which was fine -- after 12 minutes (as the recipe said), the sauce looked kind of thin to me. Anyway, the taste was great!

I have to second this recommendation wholeheartedly! Very yummy. DH made sure I put this on the "good recipes to make again" list.

Weighing with a different point of view...
I just made this the other night and was disappointed (it sounded so good!), even factoring the ease of preparation. It didn't seem to have much flavor. I guess I have a few easy pork recipes that I love, so I probably won't make this one again.

Made this and thought it was fantastic. The mashed potatoes weren't bad either! And as an added bonus, you get to finish off the wine you opened to make the sauce with.

My family really liked the Pork chops with mustard sauce, so I made it twice. The first time, the pork took a long time to cook (used a meat thermometer); and the sauce cooked way down and was very dark and thick; almost honey-like in texture, so it really stuck to the meat. Second time around, I cooked the meat longer before adding the sauce, so it wasn't as thick or dark. I think it tasted better the first way! Even the second time, I cooked it much longer than 12 minutes; maybe longer cooking would improve the taste for you!

Very fast and easy. My chops were nice and tender, and I made sure to use less wine because of all the complaints that the sauce was too thin. But I just didn't like this recipe. It wasn't offensive, it was just too "boozy." I just have to learn that I don't enjoy cooking with wine. Maybe another try with water or broth instead would make it better. But I prefer my home-style fried chops to this and I'd rather keep looking for another recipe for chops.

We also liked the dish a lot. Here's another thread with reviews.

There is a great pork chop recipe from I believe the March issue-pork chops in a whiskey and sour cream sauce. It is great with mashed potatoes!

We really enjoyed this recipe - but we generally love dijon mustard/white wine combinations. It was simple and fast (we used tenderloin not chops). The sauce was runny though - even after I added more cornstarch/water. Ours was certainly a lot lighter in color than the picture - enough so that my husband wondered if it wasn't beef in the picture. I think you have the secret BarbaraL - too cook the sauce a lot longer. The sauce was great dribbled over steamed broccoli.

We also liked these. I used tenderloin and the whole grain Dijon. My sauce came out perfect, but I did cook it a little longer than the recipe called for.
