Special K with strawberries?

Has anyone tried the Special K Red Berries cereal? I tried it yesterday and didn't know if I liked it or not. The strawberries weren't what I expected. I thought they would be chewier, like other dried fruit. I guess I've never had dried strawberries before. What are they supposed to be like? They seemed kind of unsubstantial to me. They also tasted like they had some artificial strawberry flavor added. Maybe it's just me. I was just wondering what some of the rest of you think.

I recently tried this cereal as well. To my dismay, the Special K flakes were sweetened (a la Frosted Flakes--but they weren't white like that--and I can't stand sweetened cereals). I for one like the freeze dried strawberries (which are entirely different from dried fruit). But, I would never buy this cereal again because of the sweetness.

Just a side note....when I was in Australia last fall, they had a similar cereal that was delicious, so I had high hopes for the Special K version. Unforunately, it didn't pan out. Back to my Puffed Kashi. http://www.cookinglight.com/bbs/smile.gif
