Crazy recipe instructions

I was just reading a recipe and in the instructions for making it this is what I found............



2 tablespoons tomato juice -- minced

Have you ever tried mincing tomato juice?
Have you found equally baffling instructions?

LOL - was that in a cook book??? Maybe they meant "tomatoes in juice" as in canned, but they would still be hard to mince.

I can't think of any off hand, but I know I have come across some strange instructions, but usually in the newspaper, rather than from a cookbook.

I was on another website this morning and found the recipe there. Incidentally it was a very good recipe but I can't remember where I saw it.
