I am inundated with PAGE upon PAGE of "new" posts when I hit the "new posts" button...and 98% are all supper club info.
Is there any way to weed this out??
I know supper clubs are great, wonderful and cool...but holy cats, I feel like I'm spending hours weeding through the maze ....
just asking.

Is there a new CL article that has sparked a current interest in the supper clubs? I think it's great, but as one who uses the "new posts" option, agree that there are A LOT of supper clubbers suddenly!...not a big problem for me, but I definitely notice the increased posts...

I know what you mean. I think I'm going to stop using the "new posts" feature for a while and go back to opening one board at a time. I'm glad that people are interested in supper clubs, too, but the sheer number of recent threads is hard to pick through.

CL featured supper clubs and there was also a show on the Food Network a few days ago.

You hit the nail on the head. I was wondering what was happening the other day when I posted my thread "has anyone else noticed...." and I was talking about all of these supper club threads. I know that they provide a great was for people to connect in their community but it is making it hard to go through the other posts. I opened CL this morning (Sunday - usually a quiet day) and clicked on new threads and got 7 pages of new threads  , and this was after only logging in last time on Sat afternoon. I would also like to know how I can "unsubscribe" to these threads. I also use the new threads button but it is becoming overwelming. I wish you could go to the forum page and click on those topics you wish to subscribe to - such as good food, other, healthy living etc.

I just checked in after being away most of the weekend. YOWZA! And it's no small coincidence that these posts blossomed after each showing of the supper club episode on FoodTV this weekend (Saturday@ 5PM and Sunday@ 4PM) :p ;)
Hopefully things will ease up a little in a few days or so...

Yes, it is annoying! I used to look at the names of the threads to see which ones I wanted read. Now I look to see which forum they are in first and skip all of the supper club ones.

It's even funnier, because, looking at the NYC one anyway, they're all saying they want to join one, but they aren't even talking to each other and moving forward, just a lot of "me toos"!
I watched the weekend one. I have to say, I didn't like the program at all, except for the pleasure of seeing the lovely Jessica.

And I thought it was just me! Wish CL would limit the "new posts" choice to Food and Other, or give us a choice as to which sections we would like to see in the "new posts" selection. I find I am overwhelmed with 200+ posts.

This has been driving me crazy too. Takes forever to get through the new threads and I know I am missing some good threads because it is stuck between two supper clubs ones. :( Please let there be a way to fix this.
