I do not have the recipe in front of me but I'm pretty sure it calls for a tube pan. Can I use a Bundt pan instead? I can think of no reason why but I thought I'd ask. Thanks.

some of the other girls said they did, and I was planning on making it sometime soon and using a bundt pan or a loaf pan maybe. But I haven't tried it yet. Let me know how yours turns out in the bundt pan.

Elizabeth,
I made it in a bundt pan twice. First time it came out great; second time it got stuck but I think it was my fault rushing the cooling time.

I used a bundt pan and it worked fine...looked so pretty too!

Another vote for the bundt pan--mine worked out great, though I was sure to grease and flour every spot very carefully.

Thanks so much. Now I won't have to go in search of a tube pan today after work. Have a great weekend everyone.

I used two regular sized loaf pans and get two pound cakes instead of one, works every time for me!!

Bundt pan works fine! I use it for all the
pound cake recipes too!

I haven't made the recipe yet. I do know a Bundt pan is 12 cups. A tube pan is 10 cups??? Good question.

Good point, Leonard. When I made the pound cake in my Bundt pan, it turned out just fine. But I did notice that it was smaller (i.e. not as tall) as other cakes that are designed to be made in a Bundt pan. For example, the regular sour cream pound cake that maizeyoats and I make in the Bundt pan was a lot taller than this one. hmmm...

I think they look better taller. but just so long as it tastes great (which it does) who cares?

Made the cake in a Bundt pan and it was a big hit at my forks and friends group. Thanks everyone.

I made it in a bundt cake and it was awesome. I did have it bubble up a little bit and I needed to trim it so it would be straight and level.

Bundt pan, tube pan - what's the difference in the end. The cake is delicious!! I'd think it would turn out in muffin pans as well - just adjust the time. It's a rainy day and I think I will make it today!! Yummy!!!!!

Yes that should be fine but don't forget to
grease even if it is nonstick. I just made
a Blueberry Pound Cake, loaf style using
frozen Wild Blueberries. Ever try those?
