This is a favorite of ours. Chocolate makes any fruit yummy!!
(sorry I never really measure the amounts)
1 Large container low fat yogurt
1 Package Instant Vanilla pudding
1 bag mini chocolate chips
Just mix all the ingredients together and serve. We love it with strawberries and pineapples.

Here's my favorite one--it is always gone as soon as I set the fruit platter down. Goes well with all fruits, but my favorites are apples, strawberries, grapes, and pineapple.
8oz. lite cream cheese
1/2 c. lite sour cream
1 c. brown sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
Blend ingredients with a mixer until smooth and refirgerate until serving.
Melted carmel mixed with yoghurt - vary the mix to taste. It has a lovely sweet-sour tang.
My girlfriend made one that was heavenly, she may have even gotten it from an older issue of CL, but I am not sure. It was simple.
1 Lg. Tub of Cool Whip
1 Package of French Vanilla Instant Pudding
1/4 cup of Amaretto Liqour
Mix all three together and let it set up in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes so the flavors can combine. It was great!

Here's a really quick recipe from CL, Oct 1998 that's also very tasty.
Creamy Marshmallow Dip:
1/2 cup tub-style light cream cheese
1/2 cup strawberry low-fat yogurt
1/4 cup marshmallow creme
Combine all ingredients in a medium bowl; beat at low speed of a mixer until well-blended. Cover and chill 2 hours.

I do the cream cheese and marshmallow dip, it is quick, easy, and goes with any fruit imaginable! I use the low fat cream cheese instead of the no fat because the consistency stays creamier. I have tried the no fat and if you are keeping it in your fridge for like a week it tends to get a little runny. Good Luck with your Party

I've had a fruit dip that uses fat-free cream cheese and marshmallow cream (which is also fat free) - it's really, really good - but I don't know the ratio of what-to-what. I can dig it out when I get home if it appeals to you.

Oh yes Sandy, please post! I'm going to a baby shower tomorrow and I have to bring a fruit platter. I was just getting on the board to ask this question, and someone already posted it!

What is the consistency of the dip with the marshmallow cream? Do you still chill it and might that make it too stiff to dip things like kiwi?

My friend had the recipe handy:
1 large jar marshmallow cream
8 oz. package of fat-free cream cheese
Blend together, chill until ready to serve
Now, here's my spin on things - this could be whatever consistency you wanted it to be. If you wanted it softer, you cut back on the cream cheese, or you use the whipped cream cheese in the tub, or add more marshmallow cream. Mix it with a mixer and keep adding either to achieve the desired consistency.
It might be fun to use a flavored cream cheese too - strawberry, pineapple, etc.

If I want to make fruit dip I put frozen strawberries (thawed), frozen peaches (thawed), some lemon juice, and almond extract in the blender and puree it all. Its good, refreshing, and easy to make after all that chopping of fruit!

This may be too late, but here's one from a recipe book put together by people at work for "National Employees Health & Fitness Week". My husband and I really love it, and we've served it to guests with great success. It is also very EASY!
Nancy's Fruit Dip
8 oz. Fat-Free Cream Cheese, room temperature
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 cup fat-free sour cream
2 tsp. Vanilla extract
1 cup skim milk
3.2 oz. package Instant Vanilla Pudding mix
In medium bowl with electric mixer, beat cream cheese until smooth. Add brown sugar, sour cream, vanilla, milk, and pudding mix, beating well after each addition. Chill until ready to serve. Yield: 3 cups
Enjoy!

Thank you all so much for all the yummy recipes. I tried the marshmallow fluff + stawberry cream cheese recipe and I added orange zest and a little vanilla. It was soooo tasty! My husband said skip the fruit, just give me a spoonfull of that dip!
Thanks again.
