Matanzas Creek Review 1998

Well, after all the raves about this wine I decided to "splurge" and buy myself this Chardonnay. I think it is delicious and also has a bite to it. Maybe what I'm trying to say is that it has some sparkle like champagne but not nearly as much. I will definately get this again.

Jas- How much a bottle and what foods did you eat with it? TIA, I am trying hard to get away from Merlots and Cab., but we always go back... I think it is the pairing with foods I need to work on.

I just wanted to add that all 3 of the wines they make are fabulous. Their merlot is our favorite (not that we can afford to have it more than once a year!!)
