How do key limes differ from regular large limes in taste, tartness etc.?? :confused:

key lime = Florida key lime = Mexican lime Notes: These are smaller and more acidic than the more common Persian limes. Substitutes: limes (Many cooks prefer freshly squeezed Persian lime juice over bottled key lime juice for key lime pies.)

It takes a lot more of them to get an equal amount of juice (but IMO it's worth it because it is a stronger lime taste.) Vons has had them here for the past couple of weeks for $1.00 a bag, so I've gone through about four bags.
