Hello everyone. I'm looking for recipes for bread using whole wheat flour. Nothing with nuts, or fruit, just plain old whole wheat bread, in loaf form, or as sandwich rolls. Can anybody help?

djoygirl,
Hey! I've run off a ton of really great-sounding breads from the King Arthur web site -- I know that several fit your description.
It's at www.kingarthurflour.com (http://www.kingarthurflour.com) Hope you find something!

here's a yummy recipe! Hope you have abread machine:

100% Whole Wheat Bread (bread machine)
The trick to 100% whole wheat bread that doesn’t resemble a brick is to use additional gluten. Since whole wheat flour has less gluten than regular bread flour, the added gluten helps the bread to rise. You can buy gluten anywhere flour and yeast are sold, even in the grocery store.

1 pound loaf
------------------
3/4 cup water
2 tsp vegetable oil
2 Tbsp honey
1/4 tsp salt
2 cups whole wheat flour
2 tsp yeast
3 Tbsp gluten
1 1/2 pound loaf
--------------------
1 1/8 cups water
1 Tbsp vegetable oil
3 Tbsp honey
1/3 tsp salt
3 cups whole wheat flour
2 1/2 tsp yeast
4 1/2 Tbsp gluten

Place all ingredients in bread machine in the order recommended by the manufacturer. Select a whole grain setting, if available, otherwise use a regular cycle.
