Grilled Meatloaf?

I have heard about grilling meatloaf and was curious if anyone had tried it yet? I have found a couple recipes for it and they seem pretty basic, though I am not seeing a big difference than cooking it in the oven since most called for you to wrap the loaf in foil.

So do you all have any tips, recipes, opinions about grilling meatloaves? Thanks.

Sorry I have never grilled meatloaf but thought maybe others would share their favorite meatloaf recipe. I love meatloaf especially the next day on sandwiches. I think my grandmother made the best but I'm sorry to say I never asked her for the recipe. I know it's a simple thing to make but I have never gotten it to taste as good as hers.

What I do is make "meatloaf" patties. I do put foil on top of the grill and spray it with cooking spray. Then I cook them at medium heat and watch carefully as they can burn easily. Dh loves them even better than regular meatloaf.
