Sorry it has taken a few days to get back to posting this. This is the recipe I make every year. It's not overly sweet, which is one of my favorite things about it. I usually just cook it overnight. If you don't like it chunky, you can always put it in the blender. I like it slightly mashed with a potato masher.

Crockpot Applesauce

Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method
-------- ------------ --------------------------------
8 cooking apples- peeled -- cored and cut into
chunks--- best if several varities of
apples are used (i.e. Jonathan, Golden
delicious, MacIntosh) (8 to 10)
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon

Put all ingredients into crockpot and cook on low 8-10 hours or high 3-4 hours.
