Brenda, I would predict that a majority of CL users have both and I've been on this board long enough to see that those who do not have both would love both if they had the space!

Also--if you look at the posts where people are asking about getting a blender, the answers all say to get a food processor!

Robin - Shouldn't there also be an option for "neither"? I can't answer the poll because I don't have either appliance, and that means your article will have to be only about people who have one or the other or both. Was that what you really wanted? Or did you want to know how many of your readers in general had which?

Phoebe, I have both, but don't know if I'd have either if they hadn't been given to me. The blender was my grandmother's, so I probably won't part with it, and the processor was given to me by DH -- who bought it so he could make pie crust.

my apologies for the confusion. in this case, we are looking for a statistic to use in a story connected to blenders as a substitute (or companion) vs. food processors. so if you're one of the folks who has neither, i'm afraid you wouldn't fit this particular piece (red face). we still love you, though!
