Lemon-Ginger Ice Cream from 1998?

Yes!!! My dinner club had it along with the gingar cookies a few months ago when we made a Chinese meal. It was very refreshing and I highly recommend it.

I second the request for the recipe...sounds wonderful.

Also, spice confession to make here...I just for the first time, at age 37(!) used fresh ginger instead of ground. WOW!!!! It is so incredible! I was in heaven just grating it! It is NOTHING like ground ginger, even has sort of a lemony scent?! So now I want to find all sorts of ginger recipes in order to use it! Thanks so much to this BB for inspiring me to branch out of my little food rut and try new things!!!

Jessica, I've made this ice cream a number of times. Very good, refreshing flavor. Great dessert after a spicey dinner.
Does have a bit of a lemon yogurt taste, which my DH commented on, but he did not hesitate to go for seconds.
