Question for those who blog at blogspot

Am I the only one having difficulty with blogger? I can open my blog, but can't go in and post anything. I can't veiw any comments and I now can't even open some of the other blogs I like to go to. Is it just my computer or is everyone having problems? Between this board being down lately and now this, I am getting way too much done and I can't let that continue ;) .

When you view your blog you see it as, say, I would see it. So you can't post or view comments.

You need to log in. www.blogger.com and up in the upper right you can log in.

When you do you'll be taken to your "Dashboard". Here you can see your blog Names. You click on the name of the Blog you wish to edit.

While we're asking Blogger questions, is there a way to set up a friends list? I post in LJ, but there are a lot of blogger journals I'd like to follow, and it would be convenient to have an LJ-style friends list there.

Okay, so my problems are still happening and I have no idea what is going wrong.

I was able to get on to post, but now it is freezing up (nothing ever loads) when I try to go to the list of my posts (or my dashboard).

It will never load my options to post pictures. I just get an empty window that "says" it is waiting for files from blogger.com

I can not open comments on my own blog or anyones elses.

This is obviously something with my computer. I have Firefox and have cleared my cache but that has not done anything.

Thanks for any tips you can give.

Colleen - What do you want the Friends list to do? Email your friends when you post to your blog? DSL?

At LiveJournal, you can select friends. Then when you want to see what they're up to, you just look at your friends'list. It shows the last 20 or so posts by anyone on your list. So if Missindi had posted at 5 pm and kayaksoup had posted at 6 pm, and then Missindi again at 7 pm, I would be able to read all their posts just by scrolling through the list.

I keep hoping that I can figure out something similar at blogspot. If it's there, I haven't found it.

I just started a blog at blogspot and so far it has worked ok. I agree that it would be nice to have a friends link, even though I don't know anyone on blogspot and wonder how anyone gets to see your blog?? Is it just subject to random searches?
