Where do you find the jars? I've been searching in a number of grocery stores and specialty stores here, but to no avail.
Any hints?

I have yet to use it, but I ordered a jar from "King Arthur".
Purplefishy, most of us are against bottled garlic, and no so much the ginger.

I usually find the bottled ginger next to the garlic, or sometimes in the Asian section. I have also seen a mix of garlic and ginger in the same jar, though I do prefer to mince my own garlic.

After reading all the funny posts in response to the "are you a food snob" question, I saw many of you won't use the bottled ginger. I must confess that I do use the bottled kind. I have tried using fresh ginger, but it takes so long to peel and chop, oh, wait, you didn't do enough, peel, chop. Any tips to speed through the process a little? Also, i like the consistency of what is in the jar better than what I get when I chop it.
