Kitchen Gifts - EW 10-11/05

Has anyone tried any of the loaves/bundts/muffins from the 10-11/05 Eating Well? I did a quick search and did not see any reviews.

Last Christmas I gave loaves of CL's Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Bread at the holidays and they were a big hit. I want to do loaves of quick bread again this year and was wondering if anyone has tried any of EW's variations of the base quick bread dry mix recipe. I think the Berry-Almond sounds best, but many of the others sound good too. Any feedback?

I saw a headline in November CL (which just arrived) for a "gifts from the kitchen" feature but haven't even looked at it yet.

Oh my! "Milk-bone like" is not a particularly encouraging descriptor!

Thanks for posting that link for me, ladies (I had searched "quick bread" as two separate words.). I wish it had yielded better news!

If anyone finds a quick bread they like enough to give as gifts, please do share your find!
