?Fig & Cream Cheese Bars -CL Oct

I want to make these today, but only have 12 oz (not 16) of the figs. I do have dried apricots. For those of you who have made this, do you think I could get by with the amount of figs I have, add 4 oz apricots, or wait until I go to the store and get some more figs?

I definitely think you could get away with only 12 ounces of figs. I had thought I might make the recipe again sometime with just apricots, but personally I don't think I would mix them. The apricot flavor would probably get lost with all the figs anyhow.
