I was wondering how you make potato salad - everyone I know does make it different. I use for example soup, oil and vinegar for the dressing and no mayo. I also add green onions to my version.
I already tried the "Search Option" but I couldn't find any postings. So I really hope there is no Thread like that out there ;)

I make my mother's standard simple eyeball-the-ingredients southern potato salad:
Boil small potatoes ("boiling potatoes") whole. Boil eggs. Peel potatoes and eggs and cube both. Add sweet pickle relish, minced onion, salt, pepper, a squirt of yellow mustard, and KRAFT mayonnaise. Eat until happy.

Well, now, you've opened up the flood gates here!! There are a ga-zillion beloved potato salad recipes all vying for attention. My sincere input would be that a little dollop of sweet pickle relish, and a little dollop of sour cream enhances any recipe!
