How does one change the little "Registered User" line under the avatar to something else? Can't find what the help menu instructs to look for. Thanks!

With the upgrade in board software there is currently no option to change this.

Thank you! At least now I know not to waste my time looking for something that isn't there!

I haven't been around for a while and was looking to change mine. I'm glad I haven't been blinded in my absence. ;) :D

Has anyone found a way to make this change? My Thanksgiving turkey looks pretty silly saying "it's flower time". :D The phrase was from the spring. Oh well...in a few months, my snowman avatar is going to look even sillier with that comment.

Edited to say...I just found this in the Help area. Can the system administrator fix this so we can make changes to the custom status titles?

How do I add a custom status to my profile?
If the administrator has enabled custom status titles, then you can specify the text you want to display by editing your profile and entering the text you want in the Custom User Text field.

The last I heard on this, you'll have to e-mail Jennifer and ask her to change the words under your avatar for you.

Yes - I agree, Peggy.

Anyway, for the sake of covering myself (and proving I didn't just dream it! :p ), here's the post.

I'd rather not make sense with my tag line than bother Jennifer with it as well. But thanks for pointing out Jennifer's post, Sandy.

I agree, Erika. Keep making people wonder what the heck you're doing that you so desperately want to stop. :p :D

Welcome back, by the way. You were missed. :)

We have the same software where I work....but the old version. From the way the help file looks, it looks like Jennifer (or some administrator) just needs to turn on the option so we can get to that feature. There could be a problem with the software...who knows. You're right...she shouldn't have to make these changes for us. The software should be able to accommodate us.
