View Full Version : Chiles Rellenos Casserole - Make Ahead?

Has anyone ever made the chiles rellenos casserole ahead of time? I'd like to have it for dinner tomorrow, but I know we'll be getting home kind of late. I was hoping I could get it ready tonight and pop it in the oven tomorrow. Has anyone ever tried this? I could mix up the milk part and add it just before baking. Any suggestions?

I haven't done it. I think that it would be fine though. Assemble everything up to the egg mixture. Then add the egg right before you bake. Remember, taking the turkey mixture right from the refrigerator will require extra cooking time.
