Who's been published in CL?

It is me and my family featured w/ the Chicken Francais in the "Lighten Up" section of the Jan/Feb '01 issue!
That whole experience has been such fun!

I was quoted in the Pantry article - the "What's the most embarassing item in your pantry?" question. There were quite a few members mentioned in that one - Gail, sneezles (I think?), Gina, lorilei and others.

My words have been lurking about in CL too. My pesto salmon recipe was published back in the April issue (I think?)

I was one of the people quoted in the Pantry article! I have also submitted a recipe to get lightened but was never contacted about it. Oh, well.

I got a letter published...I had posted a "letter to the editor" on the website, and they answered my letter but also included it in a CL issue.
They didn't tell me they were going to run my letter in CL, so imagine my surprise to see my name in print!

I had a letter to the editor in 1999. I don't know what month it was but it was after CL GrandStand '99 in Atlanta. My daughter Angela and I went and had a wonderful time. It was a surprise to see my letter in print.

I was quoted BRIEFLY in the Supper Club article last year - they took a quote from this bb where I said something like "I can't wait to get started!", and I was credited with just my first name and city, so really, no one could have known it was me (except my family who all had to look at my name in CL!)

But I think I may be quoted again for real, soon - I was just asked my permission recently.

AndreaU, the article was in the April issue of this year. There was an article on pantries and the Most Embarrasing Item poll was in a sidebar. There were two threads a long time ago where CL asked us to tell about our pantries (can't live without items and the most embarrasing item). You can probably find them if you run a search (might be in an archive by now).

SOmeone came on the board asking for info about supper clubs, and I responded. Ten I received an email asking me to write back giving permission and a fact chacker would eventually call to comfirm. So far they havent called......

Yes, Lynn, same thing for me as Kim. I responded on the Supper Club Exchange Board about how we run our supper club. Then I was contacted by e-mail about giving my permission to be quoted. I haven't received a call yet either.
