I've had a 10-oz box of frozen spinach thawing in the fridge since Saturday :o -- Should I toss it or do you think it's still ok to go in a recipe?

I'd use it as long as it smelled and looked OK. If it was in my refrigerator, it probably wouldn't have defrosted until Monday.

Then again, I like to walk the wild side.

Thanks, Maria. It smelled ok and wasn't slimy, so I'm taking the risk.

Don't toss it--take it to an office potluck! ;)

Seriously, I think it would be fine.

But I'm self-employed!! No way to hide from the scary spinach. ;)

Any chance of visiting the potluck of a random stranger? You know, just walk into a building with the scary spinach, and drop it off whereever a potluck is happening?

LOL! I like the way you think. :D Now, who am I mad at right now... this could be a new take on the old Ex-Lax Brownies trick. ;)

squeeze the water out and cook it in something and it will be fine.
