I'm doing a bit of early research since we will be moving out of state in the next few months and my time is limited. I am 16 weeks pregnant.
I would like to find a sling that would enable me to nurse hands-free as I have a 3 year old son that I would like to attend to while nursing, if needed. I would also like the sling to be easy to put on while I am holding our baby. The New Native Sling and this other wrap style sling do not look like they would go on quickly.
I did not have a sling with my first baby and I wish I had. I have the Bjorn and never liked it and neither did my son.
So recommendations would be very much appreciated.

Congratulations on your pregnancy! :)
I have a fleece pouch from www.kangarookorner.com. Now that my son is three months old and can almost hold his head up, I can nurse him in it. It's not very discreet for nursing in public, though. It is very easy to put on, even while holding the baby. Another good source for pouch-style slings is www.hotslings.com.
I also have a Maya ring sling. It is very versatile, but it takes some getting used to. However, you can nurse a newborn in it handsfree. The sling has a "tail" that you can place over the baby if you need more coverage.
Hope this helps! I love slings; I also have a three-year-old and find them very useful. I was just chopping vegetables for soup with my son in my fleece pouch.

I have a Hotsling (www.hotslings.com) and really love it. It is sized specifically for you so you don't have to play with straps and clips. I did not get one until Maxell was nearly 5 months old so I do not really use it for nursing, but I think it would work well for nursing. The sling itself is very wide and would be great for discretion while nursing and also be comfortable for a very young baby.

Here's a great site (http://www.thebabywearer.com/) with reviews or patterns if you want to make your own. HTH. :)
ETA: Oops, sorry, Beachbum already posted the link! :o

I got my sling at zolowear.com. I only nursed my dd in it a few times as I got it when she was 9 mos old and more interested in peering out, but, the great thing about it is it has a zipper pouch (great for those walks) and the fabric that hangs in front can be used to cover up baby if you're in the sun.

I second the Zolowear recommendation. :)
