Well I made paella for my father's birthday and since I was making it up -- ended up with an extra can of lobster meat -- any suggestions on what I should do with these suculent morsels? Please help. Thanks so much

Open mouth, insert lobster......

but seriously, we had a fabulous lobster bisque that we dipped crusty french bread in last weekend. Id look for a lobster bisque recipe!

Canned lobster meat?? I don't think I've ever seen that. Is it good? Is it available at the regular grocery or at a gormet shop?

I've never had lobster. But I saw a recipe once for "lobster salad" (with mayo, for sandwiches). Canned lobster might be a good choice for something like that, if you're game. The bisque idea sounds good, too. What about a dip for your next party?

Julie -
It is sold canned frozen (I was looking for lobster tails but they didn't have any). I got mine at Trader Joe's -- but I imagine you might find it at other grocers that have up-scale products

I don't know if it's lumped, or shredded - I don't know how canned frozen lobster comes. But one of my favorite restaurants serves a fetuccini with lobster and shrimp in a light marinara sauce. Toss in some spinach, some sauteed garlic - woo hoo!!!! Good luck!

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Thanks for the info jas! Thinking of the possibilities like SandyM's is making my mouth water. I'll look for it and see what I find. We don't have Trader Joe's here but it's a big city so I'm sure it's available and I've just never seen it.
